Daawat’s roots began in 1996 with the merging of two families venturing into the catering business with their footprints in the Texas Region. Mahesh and Rajan, the owners of Daawat Catering, have always enjoyed working with people and sharing delicious food from their native country. They both diversified from their successful careers in Aerospace and Entertainment and journeyed into the hospitality industry. With a team whose expertise varies from Elegant Weddings to National Conventions serving over 40,000 guests, Dawaat was created to present the many flavors of India’s diverse regions in a healthy and modern fusion for all to enjoy in a sophisticated and elegant dining experience. For the last two decades, Daawat has now grown from catering Houston and other Texas metropolitan areas to catering cities all across the United States as well as destination weddings in Mexico and other countries.
